The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs! by Jon Scieszka

Once again Jon Scieszka creates a humorous story involving a classic fairy tale. The "true" story is told from the wolves perspective and his version of what happened to the three little pigs. Children will love this book, as did I. According to the wolf the story we are all familiar with is a whole mix up and can simply be explained by a sneeze and cup of sugar. You must read this book to get his version of what he claimed to have happened to the pigs and why he is now known as the "big bad wolf", it is too funny. Students would love this book for its humour and different persective. It could help show that by simply changing the person who is telling the story can change the whole plot line.
