The Napping House by Audrey Wood

This was one of my favorite stories to read as a child and it still remains on the top of my list. Don Wood does amazing illustrations with impeccable details that captivates the reader. You notice something new every time you read. This is a story about a house where everyone is napping and the bed seems to pile up. The nap is quickly disrupted by a small little flea. Children would love this book and it would make a great read aloud. The repetitiveness of the characters such as "dreaming child and snoring granny" makes it fun to read and could lead up to some great activities. I feel like this will be a timeless book and is fun to read for everyone. I would definitely recommend reading this once and you will fall in love.
